Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These terms govern use of the Samarth MIS mobile app and the web platform at samarthmis.in (the "Service"). By signing in or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service
The Service is provided to non-profit organisations and their authorised staff. Accounts are created by an organisation's administrator. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised by your organisation to use it.
2. Your account
- Keep your password confidential and do not share your account.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell your administrator immediately if you suspect misuse.
- Your organisation may suspend or remove your access at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- enter information you know to be false, or submit data about people without a legitimate programme purpose;
- collect or use personal data in breach of applicable law, including data-protection law;
- access data or parts of the Service you are not authorised to see;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or probe the security of the Service;
- upload malware or unlawful, abusive or infringing content.
4. Data and responsibilities
Survey and programme data belongs to the organisation that collects it. The organisation is responsible for having a lawful basis, and consent where required, to collect beneficiaries' information. We process that data on the organisation's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Availability
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may carry out maintenance that temporarily interrupts access.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Samarth MIS is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from use of the Service.
7. Ending use
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the app or at samarthmis.in/delete-account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version.
